LETTERS TO THE EDITOR

The Hoosier Topics welcomes short, concise letters to the editor. However, as we are a free newspaper and our income is derived solely from advertising, letters may or may not be published based on availability of space in the paper.

Letters cannot contain personal attacks of character or innuendos. All letters must be signed (we will not publish anonymous letters). Each letter must include your address and phone number however this information will not be published or released to anyone except Hoosier Topics emplyees who process letters to the editor.

NOTE: Individuals submitting personal ads, for example: birthdays, weddings and in-memorys must be identified to us. We cannot accept personal ads from anonymous sources.

ADVERTISING ACCEPTANCE

Any advertising submitted by a person to an employee of the Hoosier Topics is subject to final acceptance by the management at any time. The management reserves the right to refund any money paid, to reject any offer to advertise, or to cancel any advertisement.

Abbreviations, copy and entire ads are subject to final approval of the Hoosier Topics and the paper reserves the right to refuse or reject any advertisement or any portion of advertisement which is considered objectionable or in opposition of the policy of the Hoosier Topics. The right to classify ads is also reserved.

All real estate advertised herein is subject to the Federal Fair Housing Act, which makes it illegal to advertise any preference, limitation, or discrimination based on race, color, religion, sex, handicap, familial status, or national origin, or intention to make any such preference, limitation or discrimination.

The Hoosier Topics will not knowingly accept any advertising for real estate which is in violation of the law. All persons are hereby informed that all dwellings advertised are available on an equal opportunity basis.

INCORRECT INSERTION

All ads placed by phone are read back to the advertiser to insure accuracy. The Hoosier Topics will assume accuracy at the time of the read back procedure unless otherwise informed. Advertisers are requested to check the advertisement on the first insertion for accuracy. Errors should be reported immediately. The Hoosier Topics will not be responsible for more than two incorrect insertions, nor will be liable for any error in advertisement to a greater extent than the cost of the space occupied by the error. Any copy change during the ordered schedule constitutes a new ad and new charges.
